Iraq’s Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs has launched a new training course titled “Business Innovation – How to Start Your Own Project?” aimed at returnees from abroad.
The course was inaugurated by Mr. Osama Majid Al-Khafaji, Director General of the Labour and Vocational Training Department, in collaboration with the Business Incubators Department and the Migration Resource Centre (MRC). It is designed to support applicants for income-generating soft loans.
Participants are being trained on how to prepare comprehensive feasibility studies for their projects, covering fixed and variable costs, marketing strategies, and entry plans into the labour market. The five-day programme includes 13 trainees and focuses on developing entrepreneurial skills and capabilities.
The course is delivered under the supervision of qualified trainers specialising in entrepreneurship, providing technical and professional knowledge to help ensure successful project launches.
